Hi, I’m Noelle!

I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a mom of three, and the person behind Mums Lactation. I see families in their homes across Northern Colorado and on video anywhere.

Why I do this work

I came to this work before I became a mom. I knew, long before Anela was born, that helping families with feeding was what I wanted to do. I finished my IBCLC clinicals, got credentialed, and had been practicing for a few years by the time she arrived.

Anela nursed beautifully, honestly. The twins, Jace and Jonah, were a different puzzle. Feeding two babies with two different rhythms and two different personalities taught me new things in those first weeks, even after two years in the field. That's part of what I love about this work: no two feeding stories look alike, not even inside the same family.

I didn't come to this because of a crisis of my own. I came to it because I genuinely love it; the problem-solving, the slow moments with new families, the way a single visit can change someone's whole week. Whatever your feeding story looks like right now, that's what we'll work with. I'll bring everything I've learned in the field, everything I've learned with my own three kids, and the real joy I still feel every time I show up at a door.

My family

I live in Loveland with my husband Danny, our daughter Anela, and our twin boys Jace and Jonah. We moved to Colorado from Arizona a few years ago and we’re not going back. The mountains, the light, the four real seasons have fully converted us.

Being a working mom of three is the lens I bring to every consult. I know what “just try this for 20 minutes” feels like when you haven’t slept in a week. My goal is always to make things easier, not add a new homework assignment.

What to expect

  • No rushing: initial consults are 60-90 minutes because real feeding problems don’t get solved in fifteen

  • Simple language: If I use a clinical term I’ll explain it. You’re not supposed to know what “transfer volume” means, that’s my job.

  • No shame: Whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding/chestfeeding, combo-feeding, exclusively pumping, or moving towards formula, the goal is a fed baby and a supported parent.

  • Follow up support: Every client gets a 48-hour text window after their visits, no charge, because the questions always come at hour 36.

Think we’d be a good fit?
